Brenden Collins

Brenden Collins is an associate at Monk Goodwin LLP practising in the litigation department.

Brenden obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia in 2011 with a double major in philosophy and psychology before obtaining his law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2014.

During his time in law school, Brenden was the recipient of the Manitoba Law School Foundation Entrance Scholarship, the Honourable Israel & Dorothea Nitikman and D.A. Thompson, Q.C. Prizes for highest standing in Legal Systems, the Honourable Mr. Justice Hudson Prize for highest standing in Jurisprudence, and was a member of the Dean’s Honour List. Brenden also volunteered for and later worked at the Legal Help Centre and was also a member of Pro Bono Students Canada.

Brenden articled with another Winnipeg law firm and was called to the bar in 2015 prior to joining Monk Goodwin LLP at the start of 2016. His practise is focused on civil litigation and dispute resolution, including employment law matters. Brenden has successfully advocated for clients at the Provincial Court, the Court of Queen’s Bench, and before various administrative tribunals.
